What is a sitemap?
A sitemap is an XML file that contains the URLs inside your blog. This file helps crawlers to find all of the URLs of your blog. There are many aspects of your site that a crawler will follow, such as the size of your sitemap and the number of URLs in your sitemap. In short, a sitemap is a complete index of your blog that you want search engine bots to see.
How to Submit Blogger Sitemap to Bing Webmaster & Yahoo
Before starting the further tutorial, I want to tell you that Now Yahoo site explorer has merged into Bing webmaster Tools. Submitting blogger sitemap to Bing will index your article both in Yahoo and Bing.
1. Go & Login to Bing Webmaster Tools account.
2. Then after logging in, Go to Add a Site page where you need to enter the URL of your website in order to add sitemap of your website.
In the URL box, enter the URL of your blogger blog and In the next box, place the URL of your blogger sitemap. The URL of your blogger sitemap will be like below.
" http://www.info2inspire.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500 "
Simply replace info2inspire.com with your own domain name and copy the code & then place it in the ” Add a Sitemap ” box. After this a drop down will appear which you can choose according to your needs.
Now Click on ” ADD ” Button.
4. After doing this, You need to verify your blog ownership by adding meta tag in your blogger template as showing in the below image.
At blog ownership verification page, you will get your separate meta tag which you need to place just below the <head > ( Opening head tag ) or above the </head> ( Closing head tag ). Your meta tag will look like highlighted meta tag in the above image.
Copy your meta tag.
Go to Blogger.com >> Template
Find <head> in the template and paste the code just below the <head> in your blogger template.
Save YOUR TEMPLETE template.
5. Now Go back to your Bing webmaster tools verification page and Click on ” Verify ” button.
If your blog have articles more than 500 then you need to submit more sitemaps.

GO to webmasters/tools > click on your site > crawl > sitemapes > Add Sitemap

Now you have successfully added your blogger sitemap to Bing webmaster tools. From now your blogger blog can also receive organic traffic from search engines like Bing & Yahoo. 😀
As you have submitted the sitemap, Bing webmaster will take around 2-3 days to crawl & index your articles in their search.
